Goodnight My Mother

A few nights ago I was laying down with my daughter and cuddling and she was whispering, "I love you so much mommy" to which I kept replying, "I love you so much too." Then I thought she said, "Goodnight my mother" which I thought was kind of funny so I replied by saying, "Goodnight by daughter." We probably had this exchange six or seven times (all whispered) until she finally sits up and says loudly, "No, I've been saying 'Can I have my water?'" Oops. My bad.

That's funny!
I hope your son's feeling better!

Thanks..he is doing better...still giving him breathing treatments. We have a nebulizer at home now so hopefully that will help stave off the severity of the problems in the future. Certainly save on trips to the doctor, urgent care, and er.

Glad to read your son is doing better. That alone must give you a sense of ease.

I like that line, Goodnight my mother. Sounds like a good opening for a story ...

Thanks Joanne...yeah, it kind of reminds me of Goodnight, Moon or something of the like.

LOL -- that's awesome. If you ask Bear what Mommy's name is he'll say, "Robyn" (well, my real name), if you ask him what Daddy's name is, he says "Father." Because he always hears me say "where is your father? ask your father. I'm going to tell your father..."

Hubby thinks it's great.

That's funny. I guess they mimic what we call each other. At least it's not some curse word..haha!
