Time to Turn on the Heat
I enjoy the cold. I love being bundled up and under blankets, getting nice and cozy. For that reason we avoid turning the heat on in our house as long as possible. If we didn't have children my husband and I would probably keep it off a lot longer than we do. However, when I shivered all night long and woke up this morning to see that my house was 57 degrees inside I decided it was time to crank up the heat. I'm still waiting to defrost.

I like the house cooler too. I'd rather wear a sweater than sit in the stuffiness of when it's too warm. But 57 degrees? You're braver than I am!!
Since my son has been away at college we've been able to keep the house much much "cooler" than we normally would! He'll be home in a couple of weeks and there is a flannel cover on his down comforter and I'll buy some flannel sheets for his bed also. Maybe now he'll think twice about keeping his bedroom door always shut too!
We're content to keep it really cool and use afghans when were downstairs and we have a flannel cover on our comforter too.
You both are like me. I love to be bundled under sweatshirts and blankets, but I agree that 57 is a bit too cold, especially with the kids. I did turn the heat on today for a bit.
