Criminal Minds, Cold Case, Private Practice, and Grey's Anatomy are a few of my favorite shows. One of the reasons they are amongst my favorite is because they always play great music by artists that, prior to their music being played on these shows, aren't well known. Lately I have heard four songs that I really can't get enough of.
This song is by Gomez entitled Little Pieces and I love the beginning.
This song is Rise Up by Ben Lee.
This is Maybe Maybe by Nico Stai.
And this is Hodges with My Side of The Story
Hope you enjoy. Have a terrific weekend!

I'm one of those people that after I hear a song I really like I run to the computer to try and find out what it is...or listen to the adult alternative channel on my cable and write down the info. to a real good song.
I will check those out - But I already love Gomez and Ben Lee!
I am the exact same way. So you have heard of Gomez? I hadn't until I heard Little Pieces on Grey's Anatomy last week. Ben Lee was the only one I had heard of previously, but had never really listened to him. You are right though; he's good.
Yes - a couple of years ago I became friendly with the bank loan officer my husband and partner were using for a loan (of course, I had to do all the leg work!) and she gave me their name.
Check out Ben Lee's "Awake is the new sleep". I found his name in the back of an old Country Living magazine that had a list of websites of musicians! Weird huh?
This morning I heard a song by The Gabe Dixon Band on the adult alternative cable station.
Also - have you checked out Powderfinger?? Their latest CD is awesome. Rude Cactus - his blog has a weekly musical suggestion and he's just started an Itunes weekly mix I haven't checked out yet.
I have never heard of the Gabe Dixon Band. I will have to check them out. I am always looking for new music. I have heard of POwderfinger. In fact, I have one of their older CD's. I like them! I'll have to check out Chris' itunes mix. I must have overlooked that. His musical taste seems to run pretty similar to mine. Usually much of what he suggests I already like or end up liking.
